“To keep the body in good health is a duty, for otherwise we shall not be able to trim the lamp of wisdom, and keep our mind strong and clear.

Water surrounds the lotus flower, but does not wet its petals.”

I have 25 years nursing experience in Health Care Support, in hospitals and care homes. I also worked in a hospital in India.

During this time I became increasingly passionate about the role of complementary and alternative therapies in patients’ recovery, realising the importance of the holistic approach to care, so often absent from conventional medicine.

Following the two year NFSH Healing Trust training I went on to qualify in Reflexology and to become a Reiki Master. Since retiring from the NHS in 2010, I have attended advanced Reflexology courses, qualifying in Precision Reflexology and Vertical Reflex Therapy. I’ve also become a SCENAR Therapist and continue to attend further training courses for my professional development.

I am part of the practitioner team at The Arcturus Clinic in Totnes. I help private clients and also offer voluntary therapies at two Cancer Support Centres. I am a member of Devon Healers, a group of energy healers offering weekly drop-in healing sessions to the public.

I also organise regular local Healing Circles with Matthew Manning, who is regarded as the world’s most scientifically tested healer.

At present I am helping clients with physical, emotional and spiritual problems resulting from a wide range of conditions. These include multiple sclerosis, cancer, arthritis, back pain and depression. Some people enjoy regular sessions purely for health maintenance and general well-being.

My other interests include Buddhism, Qigong, meditation, spiritual development, Chinese brush painting and travel. I enjoy quality time socialising with my family and friends. I love spending time outdoors in nature to revitalise my energies.
